I'm not sweet, I'm just high
Jan. 13th, 2017 02:21 amCaught up on Sherlock.
Dear god, the trolling. Is "MISS ME?" EVER going to actually be related to Moriarty? I'm not sure if I'm frustrated or amused. At this point, I'm wondering whether Sherlock was right that he wouldn't be so disappointing as to leave a message just to make people wonder, or whether the entire goal was to put Sherlock on the edge of his seat every time something interesting happened and then nope, still not him. Never him again. See, Sherlock, you do miss him, don't you?
Also appreciating how we've at this point gone completely off the rails of anything relating to the original books. I actually went hunting just now for whether there's any basis at all for another sibling and determined not really but in the process discovered that there's a musical about Sherlock Holmes having a younger brother trying to steal the glory, and that might be something I need to see at some point because it sounds ridiculous.
...as I'm thinking back on that, exactly how did she know that John had asked Mycroft about a secret brother? Is it as boring as having some way of spying on Sherlock's flat?
As for the rest of all of that, generally enjoyable. I continue to find Sherlock more relatable than might be strictly healthy, considering he only looks human when he's talking to Mycroft. I did have to laugh about the thing where of course he's emotional, he stabs anything he can't solve.
The thing John said about finding someone who thinks you already are whatever it is you want to be hit me straight in the heart, though. Was not expecting those feels out of this.
